Mr. Charles E. Lee, 65, of Greensboro, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Beacon Place, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, at Lambeth-Troxler Chapel, with the Reverend George Coats officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mr. Lee was born April 9, 1948, in Putnam County, Georgia, to George Washinton Lee Jr. and Sybil Yancey Lee. He was a member of Newlyn Street United Methodist Church and retired from Moses Cone Hospital. He was loved by many and loved many, one of the finest men we have ever known. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Jeanean Fox. Mr. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Donna Vee Brady Lee; son, Jesse Lee (Christine); daughters, Kathy Elder White (John), Sherry Elder Norris, and Amy Elder Troutman (Eric); brother, George W Lee (Janice);.brother-in-law, Mike Brady (Gwen); five grandchildren, Kelli, Steven, Cameron, Maddie, and Gabe; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Special thanks to the staff and Doctors at Beacon Place for their care and kindness.
