Charles Clarence Lemmenes Sr.

Charles Clarence Lemmenes, Sr., 76, of Olivehurst, passed away March 1, 2022, in Marysville, CA. Charles was born on November 23, 1945, in Indio, CA, to Marvin and Lena Lemmenes. His childhood was spent living in Cambria, CA. In 1964, Charles joined the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War with the 20th TAS, Vietnam, DaNang. Charles and his family spent 4 years in Okinawa, Japan, and the rest of the the time stationed at Beale Air Force Base where he served with the 9th SRW. He retired in 1987. He spent the next 30 years working in Sacramento in Air Craft support maintenance. He retired in 2020 from DynCorp International, after 17 years. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Lena Lemmenes. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Mary Lemmenes; children: Janet Paraskeva, SC, Marcia Lemmenes, TN, and Chuck Lemmenes, Jr, CA; grandchildren: Ricci Lemmenes, Madison Paraskeva, Joezef Byler, Aiden Lemmenes, Kayleigh Lemmenes, and Marvin Lemmenes. Charles will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
