Charles Jacob Mathey
July 23rd, 1934 - August 17th, 2012
Charles J Mathey, 78, of Melbourne, Florida, died Friday, August 17 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Alphonse and Mary I Mathey and grew up in Massillon, Ohio. Charles is survived by his wife Barbara (Larson) Mathey, their three sons; Bruce Mathey, M.D., Paul David Mathey and Philip J Mathey; two grand daughters, three great-grandsons and his brother David (Linda) Mathey of Ohio also survive. The funeral is at 11:30 am, Wednesday, August 22nd at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, Fl 32935. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the funeral mass. Memorial contributions to Ascension Catholic School or Masses would be appreciated. Burial will be in Ohio at a later date.
