Charles "Chuck" Meyer

Charles “Chuck” Meyer Chuck passed away at his home on July 2, 2011. He was the oldest child of Alta and Arnold Meyer and spent much of his childhood growing up in Forks, WA, where he found his first love: motorcycles. Chuck married his high school sweetheart, Elin, in 1970. After graduating from the University of Washington, Chuck’s 30-year career with the Department of Ecology made a contribution to a cleaner environment. Chuck is survived by his wife, Elin; son, Christopher, wife Renee′, and grandchild Chloe′; son, Richard and wife Dana; his mother, Alta; sisters Jerrie and Cynthia; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and his Harley. He was preceeded in death by his father. We will miss Chuck and love him forever. The family extends a very warm thank you to Group Health and their excellent oncology team for the gift of 30 years of living with cancer. As a defender of a healthy environment, Chuck’s cremations will join his father’s over the Pacific Ocean in a family celebration of his life.
