Charles J Reilly, Jr. DDS

Charles J. Reilly Jr. DDS, 71, of New City, NY passed away on June 16, 2018. He was born on June 6, 1947 in New York, NY to Charles J. Sr. & Catherine (Dufficy) Reilly. Charles married the love of his life Marilyn Penka on August 22, 1970 in Queens, NY. He was a graduate of Fordham University and NYU Dental School. Charles served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. Charles was a dentist for over 44 years in Rockland County. The greatest joy in his professional career was his ability to make people feel at ease and good about themselves. Charles in his spare time enjoyed gardening, traveling, music, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his beloved grandchildren. Charles is survived by his loving wife Marilyn of New City, his daughter Kristin and her husband Tim Warren of Rapid City, SD, his grandchildren Oliva, Andrew and Gracie. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Maureen (William) Puskas and his niece Deborah (Joe) Bouley and nephew William J. (Mitzi) Puskas. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Charles on Wednesday at 10AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Charles memory to a charity of one’s choice.
