Charles M. Riggs, 89, of Goose Creek, SC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 31, 2024. He retired from the US Navy (EMC) and the Charleston Shipyard. He enjoyed playing golf at the Weapons Station and watching the Atlanta Braves. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, Louise C. Riggs. He is survived by sons, Chuck (Dianne) of Goose Creek, and Michael (Lisa) of Louisiana; a daughter, Rosemary (Ron) Cote of Florida; Grandchildren Jessica Riggs Niemic (Ryan) and Justin Riggs (Zoey). Memorial messages may be sent to the family by visiting the Simplicity website. Burial will be private.
