Charles ""Chick"" Henry Russell, Jr. Resident of Concord, Ca Born in Richmond, Ca July 12th, 1935. Grew up in Martinez, Ca where he attended Alhambra HS. At 17 he joined the Navy and served as a Seabee where he assisted in the construction of Subic Bay Naval base. As a life long member of Teamsters Local 315 he retired from Santa Fe Railroad in 1994. Chick severed 35 years as Skipper of Sea Scout ship Albatross in Martinez and as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He is survived by his 3 children, 10 grand children, 2 great grand children, his brother Dwight and his wife Marci. Chick passed away Aug 7th, a private service is planned.
