September 22nd, 1928 - December 21st, 2012
Sanford, Charles 84, of Seminole, died Friday, December 21, 2012. Born in Summerlee, West Virginia, he came here in 1976 from Langley Park, MD. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was an avid country and Bluegrass musician, his instrument of choice was the steel guitar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte, a son, Dennis, his father Raymond H. Sanford, and his mother Mattie Sanford. He is survived by his children Linda, Danny, Dwana, Ronnie and Chris; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Thursday, Dec. 27th from 5-7 p.m. at E. James Reese Funeral Home in Seminole.
