Stanton Sr., Charles Ray, 44, of Seminole, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 of heart failure. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1986, where he became a general contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcross and snow skiing. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbe; two sons, Charles Ray ?CR? Stanton, Jr. and Stephen Thomas Stanton, both of Seminole; his parents, Charles and Billie Stanton of Asheville, North Carolina and a sister, Cathy Witherspoon of Greenville, South Carolina.
