Charles "Bucky" Steele
March 31st, 1922 - December 9th, 2013
Charles "Bucky" Steele, 91, (1922-2013).Bucky is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanne; sons Steve (Andrea) Steele of Tucson, AZ, Chuck (Margaret) Steele of Dos Cabezas, AZ and Bruce (Karen) Steele of West Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Bucky was Band Director at Tucson High for 25 years and Conductor of the Tucson Pops Orchestra for 24 years. He served for 43 years on the Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee as well as six years in the US Navy. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 11, 2013 at 3 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church 2450 E. Fort Lowell (at the corner of Tucson, Blvd.). In lieu of flowers contributions to the following would be appreciated: Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2450 E. Fort Lowell Rd. 85719, Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee, P.O. Box 1788, 85702 or the Tucson Pops Orchestra, P.O. Box 14545, 85732.
