Charles Edward Stewart, age 77, of Choudrant, LA was born February 11, 1943 in Ruston, LA and died November 19, 2020 in Ruston, LA. There will not be a local service in Louisiana, but interment will take place Monday, November 30, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. He spent his life doing the things he loved; fishing, hunting and drinking coffee at the Waffle House. He is preceded in death by his wife Beth Stewart; parents, Albert Leon Stewart and Dorothy Arlene Rush Stewart; and brothers, Curtis Stewart and Ivan Stewart. Charles is survived by his daughter, Leona Vining of Ruston, LA; sons, Shannon Stewart of Choudrant, Cameron Stewart of Dubach, and Lee Stewart of LeLand, NC; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Paula Cupp of Pea Ridge, LA and Laura Barmore of Ruston; brother, Terry Stewart of Ruston; and numerous nieces,nephews and many friends.
