Mr. Charles A. Wagenheim, 75, of Niskayuna, New York died peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020. Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 7, 1945 he was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn Miller Wagenheim. A lifelong area resident, Charles graduated from Amsterdam High School and later went on to attend FMCC. In 1970 he graduated from Oswego State University with a degree in English. During that time, he was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a National service organization. He was also a member of the Welcome Lodge 829 F&AM. Charles was employed by the State of New York as a Tax Technician until his retirement. On June 24, 1979 he was united in marriage to Michelle F. Perlman Wagenheim. That union was blessed with 29 years until her passing on December 29, 2008. He is survived by his brother, Neal T. Wagenheim of Florida. A private graveside service will be held at Temple of Israel Cemetery, Cranesville, NY. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.
