Charles Allen Winstead

Charles Allen Winstead passed away peacefully at his home after an extended illness surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 45. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, visiting the beach, and especially enjoyed the Peach Tree Road Race. Charles is survived by his loving mother and best friend, Linda Tallant. He is also survived by his father, Robert A. Winstead and wife Joyce, his brother Robert E. Winstead and wife Vicki, brother John Winstead and wife Veronica, nephew Joseph Winstead and niece Rachel Winstead. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 1pm to 2pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. The family would like to say express a special thank you to the staff of Amedysis Hospice for their love and care shown to Charles.
