Charles C. Wright, 86, of Olympia, Washington, passed away on May 15, 2017. He was born on August 20, 1930 in Red House, West Virginia, to Harry Hamilton Wright and Mary Josephine (Howell) Wright. He graduated in 1949 from Huntington High School. Charles entered the U.S. Air Force in October 1951 and retired in 1971 with the rank of Master Sergeant. He served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He had served in Germany, French Morocco, and Greenland, and various military installations in the U.S. After his military service, Charles moved to Lacey, Washington, and was employed by Olympia Radiological Associates for almost 25 years. He retired in 1995. Surviving are his lovely wife, Jolene; sons, Roger (Jackie) in Clearwater, FL, and David (Nicole) in Lothian, MD; daughter, Susan (Ronald) Nabors in Coconut Creek, FL; brothers, Bruce (Lova) and Larry (Geri) in Huntington, WV; sisters, Elaine (James) Webster in Wayne, WA, and Carolyn Neal in FL. Also surviving are stepsons, Jeffrey (Kelly) Murray in Rainier, WA, and Sheldon Murray in Harstine Island, WA; granddaughter, Cheney Wright; step-grandchildren, Zachary Murray of California, Kyle (Andrea) Murray of Washington, Hope (Kyle) Lyon and their daughter Haylen of Arizona, Jo Jo Murray of Washington, Dylan Murray of Washington, and Destinee Murray of Washington; and numerous nephews, nieces and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Kathryn, Lois, and Marian; brother, Harry Wright Jr.; half-brother, Ernest Wright Sr. Charles was a member of True Grace Church in Lacey, Washington.
