BRYANT, Charlie, 73, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, with his wife and children by his side. "He was born on a farm in Tennessee during WWII, was in the Air Force in north Africa in the 50s and 60s, played a role in the formative years of computer development with IBM, worked with NASA on the Apollo space program during the first five Apollo missions, impressed my mum with his sports car in the 70s (I owe my existence to a white 1971 Corvette), and convinced her to stick around for the last 37 years as his "first lieutenant". He led a very full and exciting life, and will be deeply missed." - daughter, Megan. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyne; son, Charles T. Bryant; daughter, Megan Bryant; sister, Ophelia (Dalton) Foster; dog, Baxley Bryant; family and friends. Final interment services are pending in Tennessee.
