Charlotte Ann Eaton left us to celebrate Christmas morning with the angels. She was born in Granite, Oklahoma on January 3, 1926, during the depression, to Nellie (Manion) and James Taylor. She would be their only child. Growing up in Eaton, she had fond memories of hard times and a close family. Never forgetting those times she was frugal and tidy and thankful. She learned to cook at an early age and enjoyed cooking all of her days. One of her favorite things to do was taking an old piece of furniture, painting it with an eye for perfection and bringing it back to life. She married James "Dick” Eaton, who was in the Army Air Corps, in 1944 and they had two daughters together, Lynda and Shelley. Dick and Charlotte later divorced. Charlotte worked many years and made many friends at State Farm. She was preceded in death by her parents and three beloved grandsons Chance Taylor Hood whom she helped care for, David Eaton Reynolds who she loved dearly and Andrew "Andy” Chapman Hood who left with a piece of her heart. She was so excited that she was going to see them again. Charlotte is survived by her daughters Shelley Hood (Larry) and Lynda Reynolds (Allen); grandsons Nathan Reynolds, James Reynolds and Jonathan Reynolds; great grandchildren Charlotte Reynolds, David Reynolds, Elijah Reynolds, Cecilia Reynolds, Mikey Hood, Adie Hood and Benson Hood. Graveside services will be held at the Eaton Cemetery in Eaton, Colorado on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.
