Charlotte Owens, age 74, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who love her. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Eva Marie Owens; mother, Myrtle Sanders; father, Brown Adams; 2 brothers, Earl and Darrell Adams; and sister, Ruby Bailey. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Pastor Mike Owens; son, Mikey Owens (Shannon); 2 granddaughters, Abbie Grace and Emily Brooke Owens; sister, Rose Banks; 2 brothers, Michael Mendenhall and Scotty Mendenhall; several nieces and nephews. To honor Charlotte’s request, services will be held privately with the family. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.cartertrent.com.
