Chase was born on September 24, 2004 in Fort Collins to Amber Trent and Andrew Dinkel. Chase was raised in the Fort Collins and Loveland areas. He attended school at O’Dea Elementary, Boltz Junior High, Bill Reed Middle School, and Thompson Valley High School.
Chase loved anything adventurous and he loved to be outdoors. He had a love for camping, fishing, and being in the mountains. His favorite places to be in the mountains were Ranger Lakes and Lake John. Chase also enjoyed skateboarding, hanging out with his friends and family, going on cruises, and playing his video games. Chase also enjoyed being with his dog Roscoe, catching and holding snakes, frogs, any other bug or reptile he could find. He had a very rough and tough exterior, but inside Chase had a heart of gold. He would always help anyone in need if he was able and he would give the shirt off his back if it was needed. Chase loved his friends so much and he loved his family dearly.
Chase was known by many nicknames, but the top ones were Racecar, Dinkelberg, Pinkle, and Butterfly Boy. Chase and his older brother were talking about Chase wanting to be a rapper and Killian asked him what his name would be and he said “I don’t know. Call me Crackerjack! No actually call me Wheat Thins!” He had a very humorous side to him and always made you laugh and cracked jokes.
Chase is survived by: mom Amber Trent/John Drieth of Loveland; dad Andrew Dinkel of Fort Collins; sister Ashley (Chris) Almazan of Evans; brother Killian (Brandi) Seerley of Fort Collins; grandmother Barbara Dinkel of Fort Collins; grandparents Ron and Jessie Trent of Evans; Aunt Roberta (Kenny) Dinkel-Eddins of Fort Collins; Aunt Jody (Bill) Tappan of Fort Collins; Uncle Ronald (Robin) Trent of Pennsylvania; Uncle Harold (Mirna) Trent of Greeley; Uncle Shayn (Patty) Estell of Kentucky; Aunt Kristi Wilson of Fort Collins; five step siblings, three nieces, several cousins, and many friends. He is preceeded in death by his paternal grandfather Wilbert Dinkel.
You are on to your next adventure kid! Chase, go ride your skateboard, write and sing your rap songs, throw the ball for B dog, and tear up that asphalt in your dream car. Save a spot for us! We miss you so much and love you to the moon and back kid!
