Cherie Lynn Griffith

Cherie Lynn Griffith was born on March 30th ,1970 in Canton, Ohio to Alice and Johnny Cowling. She met her husband, Wade Griffith, in 1985 and moved to South Carolina. They just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on January 25th, 2021. They had four children, Stephanie (Dustin), Jennie (Jordan), Wade "Bubbie" Jr (Whitney), and Samantha (Tan). She had 5 grandchildren, Bentley, Gentry, Hadlee, Lilah, and Ellory- who were the lights of her life. She was known as Grammy, Nunu, and Grandma, and each one had a special place in her heart. She also leaves behind her mother, Alice, her brothers Kenny and Rick, her sisters Joanna and Cheryl, as well as many neices and nephews. She is preceeded in death by her father, Johnny, and her brother Bee. She passed away early morning on February 7th, 2021. She is incredibly missed. There will be a memorial picnic in her honor at Wanamaker County Park in North Charleston, SC on February 11th at Noon. Family and Friends are welcome to attend.
