Cheryl S. Richards
November 2nd, 1946 - November 5th, 2020
Cheryl S. Richards was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Robert William and Doris Eileen Schmeling on November 2, 1946. She attended the University of Colorado and worked as a career financial planner. A brilliant, industrious, loving, caring, and generous woman, she devoted her life to her family and friends. Cheryl enjoyed her large extended family, traveling, entertaining, and cultivating new friendships. Her deepest devotion was to her faith and to her husband, George. The favorite phrase between herself and her husband was, “Have I told you that I love you today?” Cheryl is survived by her husband, George V. Richards; her son, Michael Schirm and daughter-in-law, Karen Schirm; her bonus daughters Heidi Convery and Haley Rodriques and son-in-law, Kris Rodriques; and her grandchildren, Mike Schirm, Mack Convery, Hazel Convery, and Dean Rodriques. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Faith Viera Lutheran Church.
