Chris Butler

Chris Butler (91) of Satellite Beach passed July 29 at home with family around her. She was preceded by her husband, Jack. Chris is lovingly remembered by her sons; Jim (Dee) of Satellite Beach, FL, Jack (Candy) of Quincy, FL, Rick (Linda) of Melbourne, FL, Dave from Costa Rica, and Don (David) of Satellite Beach, FL. She was preceded by her sons Ron and Michael. There are also 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Chris had a long career working on the Space Program, then at a brokerage firm and retiring from Harris Corporation. Chris enjoyed an active life with family and friends. She traveled extensively with her husband and annually with friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Also painting, keeping in touch with others on face book and email and just hanging around the pool. Chris did pretty much what she wanted in life, including writing her book and having to published. Chris was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Holy Name of Jesus/Haiti fund. Viewing will be Thursday, Aug. 3 from 6PM to 8PM at Beach Funeral Home - East, 1689 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 4 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic, FL at 10:30 am. Following graveside services there will be a Celebration of Life at Holy Name of Jesus Life Center at 1:00pm.
