Chris Fischer
March 1st, 1953 - July 16th, 2024
Chris Alan Fischer, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 16th in his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Chris is survived by his daughters Christy Fischer and Jennifer Giron, stepdaughter Lori Shannon, stepson Anderson Capellan, siblings Patricia Ellis and John Fischer (and wife Barbara), aunt and uncle John and Barbara Stauffer, and nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Genevieve Fischer.
Chris was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 1st, 1953 and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was 5 years old. Chris had several real estate ventures and in 2008 he opened a small nursing home where he cared for his mother and several other elderly people.
We all remember his beloved stories of working as a chef in restaurants and mining for gold in California. He always strived for more and became successful in his own way.
A memorial service will be held in his honor with a reception to follow on Saturday, August 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Paradise Hills United Methodist Church, 4700 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114
