Christian T. Cook

Christian "Chris" Tyler Cook, 26 of Albuquerque, NM & Cańon City, CO passed away on April 11, 2021 which was Divine Mercy Sunday. Christian was born on February 14, 1995 in Albuquerque, NM. Christian was preceded in death by his loving mother Geralyn T. Cook, his dear Grandpa and adopted father Marvin "Stormy" Stucker, Grandfather Kenith Cook, great Grandparents Eugene & Mary Aragón, cousin Monica, as well as great aunts & great uncles. He is survived by his Grandmama and adopted mother Maria C. Stucker, step sisters Wave & Christine, step brothers Don, Kirby, & Michael. Biological father James & stepmom Leanne, sister Jamie, brother in law Nicholas and 3 nephews: Trevor, Andrew, & Logan. His God parents Michelle & Fermin, Uncle Ken, Uncle Chris & Aunt Gayle, Great Aunt Patricia & Great Uncle Joe Reyes, cousins Julianna, Jennifer, Jessica, Amanda, Spencer, Olivia, Samuel, Molly, Caroline, Annamarie and Ken amongst many great aunts, great uncles and second cousins. Christian was incredibly bright, loving, compassionate, and helpful. While growing up in Cañon City he loved camping and fishing with his grandpa Stormy. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church where he attended preschool, was involved in the youth group, received his First Holy Communion, served as an alter boy, and participated in church plays. He enjoyed going to Sunday Mass with his Grandmama. Christian enjoyed snowboarding, skateboarding, gaming, listening to music, writing poems/lyrics, reading & baking. Christian grew up in Canon City, Colorado but spent the last 7 months of his life in Albuquerque where he lived and bonded with his God Parents: Michelle & Fermin, as well as cousin Arianna. Christian was infinitely grateful for all the support, love, and guidance he received from his Grandmama, Grandpa, God Parents, family and friends in his lifetime. Service information: Private viewing for family and close friends at Riverside Funeral Home on Friday April 30th, 2021 at 4:00pm Funeral mass at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cańon City, Co (Date & Time TBD: please contact St. Michaels for updates) Burial at Lakeside Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Michaels Catholic Church in Cańon City, CO in Christian's name or a mass dedicated to him.
