Christian Ceja Del Real

Christian Ceja Del Real passed away on April 12, 2019 in Austin, Texas from health complications. Christian was born on April 25, 1974 in Redwood City, California. He was a thrill seeker who loved adventure and traveled to multiple countries throughout his life. Christian loved flying and although his biggest dream was to become a pilot, he did fly around the world three times as a flight attendant. In recent years, after living out of state for several years, Christian moved to Del Rey Oaks, California where he attended Monterey Peninsula College and pursued another one of his passions, theater. During this time he was also able to spend time with loved ones in the area and create many memories with them as well as adopt a fur baby from Fresno, a dog he named Milo Johann Bach, or Milo for short. Christian is survived by his mother Lucy Del Real, his father Jose Luis Ceja, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his fur baby Milo. Visitation will be held at the Healey Mortuary, Monday, April 22, 2019 from 1 - 9 PM. An Evening Prayer Service will be held, Monday, April 22, 2019 at 6 PM Final Services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 1 PM at the Mortuary followed by the Burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 855 Abbott St., Salinas, CA

At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
