Christian "Chris" Lujan

Christian (Chris) Lujan, 50, a much-loved father, brother and friend to all who knew him, passed away July 28, 2018 and went to rest in the arms of Our Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Lujan, mother, Sarah Herrera Lujan, brother-in-law David Gilliam, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and family members. Chris, who graduated from Rio Grande High School, is survived by his three children whom he cherished, Mariah, Joshua and Noah Lujan; siblings, Johnny Lujan, Patricia Baros, Angela Lujan-Otero (Paul Otero) and Antonio Lujan Sr. (Veronica); nieces Angela Baros, Amanda Otero, Savanna Otero, nephews Dr. Richard Allen Baros, Jeffrey Baros, Jacob Otero, Angelo Otero, Antonio Lujan Jr., Estevan Lujan, many cousins, family and bonus parents, John and Laura Gilliam. Chris surrounded himself with the love of his children and family, first, and then with all of his Dallas Cowboy gear. One of the many joys he had was watching his beloved Cowboys play at AT&T Stadium with his younger brother and their sons. Chris will be remembered for his quick wit, wicked sense of humor and his ability to name just about any rock band on the planet.
