Christina Greer

Mrs. Christina Ann Greer, 51 , of Kernersville passed away Wednesday March 11, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Christina was born in Montreal, Quebec Canada on July 6, 1957 a daughter of the late Laurence and Lillian Lee Van Yperen. She was a Registered Nurse, formerly employed at High Point Regional Hospital and and Kindred Acute Care. Christina will be remembered as a professional, kind, compassionate and competent nurse who received many accolades for her personal care, attention and concern for her patients. Surviving are her husband Jeffery Dean Greer of the home; two daughters, Holly Garreau of Hamilton, Ontario Canada and Krystal Player of Fayetteville, NC; two sons James Cathcart and Greg Mellonson both of Hamilton, Ontario Canada; two step daughters Stacy Greer and Megan Greer both of Jamestown, NC; a sister Carol Baker of Hamilton, Ontario Canada; and two step grandsons, Thomas and Mitchell Garreau both of Hamilton, Ontario Canada. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 pm Sunday in the Lambeth-Troxler Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
