Christina Hallmark, 67, of Chico passed away on May 4, 2015 at Lighthouse facility in Paradise, California, after battling breast cancer. She was born on April 4, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to Glann and Marilyn Donnelly. She graduated from West Covina High School in West Covina, California. She received a BA from University of Hawaii. Then she became a stewardess with Continental Airlines flying out of Honolulu to the Far East. Interviewed for an article on the then glamorous life-style of an airline stewardess, she was selected to be featured on the cover of Playboy magazine. In April of 1976 in Honolulu she married Raymond Koch, an orthopedic surgeon. They moved to Eureka, California to start his practice where they began their family. Later she moved to Oklahoma to become a real estate agent. Six years ago she moved to Chico, California to be with her sister, Donna. She had been employed by Butte County Housing Authority as an administrative assistant. Christina is survived by her sisters, Donna (Allan) Knotts of Chico; Janna Genovese of Cottonwood, Arizona; daughter, Jenna Koch; sons, Ryan and Evan Koch and niece, Dawn Allen of Lake Oswego, Oregon. At her request there shall be no services and her ashes will be scattered in the forest near Butte Meadows.
