Christina Sheppie McClary

Ms. Christina Dawn Sczepankowski Sheppie McClary 38, of Clizbe Ave, Amsterdam, passed way unexpectedly Friday August 19, 2011 at Albany Medical Center Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on February 5, 1973 a daughter of Richard G. J. Sczepankowski Sheppie Sr. and Elizabeth A. Scheidel Sczepankowski. Christina was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed being with her children. She also enjoyed her pet cats, and was fond of dolphins. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. She is survived by her four children, Connor Matthew McClary, Arial Kellie McClary, Melodie Catherine McClary and Duncan Richard McClary. Her Parents, Richard and Charlene Sczepankowski Sheppie of Amsterdam and Donna Sczepankowski Sheppie of Amsterdam. Brothers, Richard G. Sczepankowski and Shane M. Sczepankowski Sisters, Amanda Leigh Avery Chrissy of Amsterdam, Krista Hoffay of Alabama. Aunts and Uncles, Carol Langlier Dave, GeorgeAnn McGuinness, Tom Eleanore and Gary Sheppie, William Greenroad, Dulcie Antos, Charles Greenroad, Wendy Taylor, Mary Ellen O'Loughlin William and Amey MasonTim. One nephew, Kaden Hoffay. Several cousins also survive. Christina was predeceased by her Mother Elizabeth A. Scheidel Sczepankowski, her grandparents, George and Martha Sheppie, Louisa and William Greenroad, Virginia and Edward Scheidel. Her dear cousin, Terry Sheppie and her beloved cousin and best friend Kelly Ann Spencer. She is survived also by her former husband and companion Eric M. McClary of Amsterdam. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 4:30P.M. at the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, with Father Stanislaus Swierzowski and Pastor Mark Appell presiding. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday August 23, 2011 beginning at 4:00P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service. A reception will be held at Perth Bible Church immediately following services and all are welcome to attend. Interment will be private in St. John's Cemetery where Christina will be laid to rest with her dear cousin Kelly Spencer and family.
