Christine "Duester" Lynn Amendolare
July 3rd, 1950 - January 13th, 2018
Christine Lynn Amendolare, 67, of Satellite Beach, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 13, 2018, after a short battle with cancer, at home with her husband, Nicholas Amendolare, of 46 plus years at her side. She was born on Jul. 3, 1950 in Amityville, NY. She married Nicholas on May 9, 1971 and they lived on Long Island before moving to Brevard County in 1978. Christine retired, after 28 years, with Brevard Public Schools. She enjoyed doing crafts, baking, and decorating for every holiday. A great part of her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Christine and her husband enjoyed time together shopping for antique furniture and toys. She is survived by her beloved husband; Nicholas Amendolare, children; Shawn Amendolare (Kristine), Kirk Amendolare (Morgan), and Nicole Smallwood, grandchildren; Che, Sierra, Angelynn, Chase, Connor, and Alianna, and 18 nieces and nephews. Christine was predeceased by her siblings, Carol Posnjak, Diane Meyer, Darlene McGurk, and Walter Duester, II. Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Homes - East, Indian Harbour Beach on Thurs. Jan 25, 2018 from 6-8pm and on Fri. Jan 26, 2018 from 2-3pm with a service beginning at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Christine's memory to Hospice of Health First.
