Christopher Lee Cole

Christopher Lee Cole, 43, of Hollywood, SC, passed away June 1st, 2014. He was born June 22, 1970 in Chattanooga, TN to Sheryl and William Cole. He graduated from Harriman High School in TN and later studied electronics at ITT Technical Institute. In 1994, he married his wife Tina and they raised their three children in Knoxville, TN. Chris spent the last 3 years of his life in Hollywood, SC working for Wyndham Resorts on Edisto Island. He loved the outdoors and was most at peace by the ocean or in the mountains specifically Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. He was happiest relaxing with a cold beer in one hand, a fishing pole in the other, while listening to Jimmy Buffet. Chris was preceded in death by his birth father Larry Wayne Watts. He is survived by his wife Tina and three children; Ashley Herron and husband Michael of Knoxville, TN; Kristofer Dalton Cole of Knoxville, TN; and Courtney Cole of Knoxville, TN. Chris is also survived by his parents Sheryl and William (Bill) Cole of Hollywood, SC; his brother Shannon Cole of Hollywood, SC; his sister Tiffany Tate and husband Richard of Loudon, TN; as well as 3 nieces and 3 nephews. The family will have a private ceremony at Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest at a later date. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services Inc.
