Christopher Douglas De Brocky

Christopher Douglas De Brocky was born on January 29th, 1988 in Roseville, CA to Anna and Glenn De Brocky, and died February 18th, 2019 in the presence of loving family. He grew up in Roseville, CA and graduated from Roseville High School in 2006 as a well-known and beloved member of the drama club. He received his associate of arts degree in photography, plus certification in alternative photographic processes, color photography, landscape photography, and photographic processes from Sierra College in Rocklin, CA in 2015. He was pursuing degrees at California State University Sacramento at the time of his death to become a geological engineer, thanatologist and race and ethnicities expert, specializing in Black studies. He loved the pursuit of knowledge and learning; an encyclopedia of random facts, real world experience and academic thought. His confidence and energy knew no limits as he also one day hoped to own a lavender and berry farm in San Diego county. Chris spent his free time building furniture, listening to music, trying new foods, and travelling with his wife. He had a passion for all animals and practiced a strict vegan diet. His charm, charisma and sense of humor made everyone love him instantly and his loving heart left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He always knew exactly what to say to make everyone feel happy and never mistreated another living being. Chris always offered a helping hand no matter the sacrifice and never judged a soul. Despite all the hardships he faced and witnessed in life, he remained optimistic and joyful with hope for a happier world. His kind, generous heart was reflected in everything he did from his photography to his handyman work. He never gave less than his best and no one ever doubted his skill and passion in life. He was immensely talented, funny and intelligent. Chris could make even the coldest person laugh or smile and brightened everyone’s world, always able to find something good in even the worst days. He was a truly treasured son, brother and husband, survived by his father Glenn, mother Anna, sister Stefanie, wife Aubrey, two cats and a goat.
