Christopher Frito Gallegos

On January 6, 2019, Christopher "Frito" Gallegos, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at age 57. Frito was born on December 23, 1961 in Albuquerque, NM to Casey and Helen (Garcia) Gallegos. On August 1st, 1980 he married Dorothy Martinez. They raised three sons, Jeremiah, Christopher, and Dominic, and one daughter, Stephanie. Frito was a man of many friends. He never met a stranger. He had an eye for landscaping, which he really enjoyed. His main passion was cooking. He would pour his heart and soul into creating amazing dishes for his family gatherings. He took pride in his work and was truly an amazing cook. Frito would ensure that everything was perfect and that the chile was hot, just the way he liked it. He was known for his sense of humor and his kind heart. Frito was preceded in death by his father, Casey, and his mother Helen. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his four children, Jeremiah, Stephanie, Christopher, and Dominic, his three sisters Christine, Linda, and Lillian, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at Riverside Funeral Home on San Mateo Blvd NE at 6:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
