Christopher Ray Greene

Christopher Ray Greene, 42, of Caldwell, died at a Caldwell hospital, February 20, 2017 following a yearlong battle with congestive heart failure. Born in 1974 in San Diego, CA, he became an Idaho resident as a toddler. He is survived by his parents, Jim Greene of Adrian OR and Darlene Green/Deide (now with Gary Deide) of Caldwell, ID. Chris thrived in the great outdoors and became an avid bow hunter, fisherman and loved life in the mountains. (Big, rowdy, fun-loving, mountain man.) All of his schooling was spent in the Payette School District, plus 2 years at BSU in the extension program for plumbing. He met and married Michelle White of Tacoma, WA. He assumed the role of father to her two children, Jeffrey White and Ashley Brook. (Now married to James Pollock with grandson, Jimmy) of Nampa ID. Together, Chris and Michelle had a son, Christopher James Greene (CJ) now in Caldwell, ID. They were divorced a year ago, just before Chris’s first heart attack. Chris is also survived by his sister, Christina Greene and brother, Jim Greene Jr. (married to Joy) and their children, Miranda and Devon, all from Seattle, WA. We want to especially thank the doctors and staff of the West Valley Medical Center for their professional and compassionate care the last week for Chris. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell and graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Bill Sperry on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery, Marsing, ID.
