Christopher Forrest Peterson

Obituary Christopher F. Peterson died on September 9, 2016. Though we moved all over the country while he was growing up, he called Basalt Colorado his home town. He graduated from Basalt High School in 1998. He joined the army right out of high school. Christopher served in the Army Signal Corp for 6 years and worked in the same field of satellite communications for the past 12 years in the private sector for Honeywell, Lockheed Martin and Integrity Applications, Inc. Christopher really loved animals and had a romantic nature. He also loved ancient arts of the Samurai and Sun Tzu Art of War. He was an avid science fiction and fantasy reader and a video game enthusiast. He also dabbled at guitar and violin. He had a brilliant mind and many gifts.
