Cindy Jean Hanvey

September 14th, 1971 - April 25th, 2020

On behalf of our family, we would like to begin by thanking everyone who has sent us their condolences. We have received countless phone calls, emails, texts, flowers, meals, visits, thoughts and prayers. They have been both comforting during this difficult time and have been a reminder of the impact that Cindy had on so many others. Cindy Jean Hanvey, was born September 14, 1971, in San Jose, CA, to parents Hester Jean Fowler (deceased) and Alvin Henry Janitz (deceased). Cindy is survived by her husband, Mike Hanvey; her two children, Chad Anthony Dinsmore (Teresa Gaddis) and Jenifer Marie Dinsmore; Mike’s two children, Chester Hanvey (Megan) and Katie Peters (Brian); six grandchildren, Ethan and Liam Rowell; Bobby and Adeline Peters; Charlie and Teddy Hanvey; two older sisters, Deanna Collinson and Sandra Pennix; a niece, Katrina Pennix and nephew, Joshua Pennix; uncle Glen Fowler; cousins Alan Fowler, Andrew Fowler, and Paula Orozco. We weren’t her only loved ones, Cindy had a strong connection to all of her fur babies she’s had over the years. Cindy was always the life of the party. She loved getting everyone together to have a good time. She was all about creating memories. We know that Cindy is looking down on us today and will be forevermore, and we truly believe she knows just how truly loved she was. I know we have all heard this before, that life is a lot shorter than any of us realize. So tell the ones you love that you love them daily. Appreciate every moment that you’re able to spend with the ones you love. Cherish all the amazing memories. We know that we will always cherish all the ones Cindy brought into our lives. Too loved to be forgotten and gone way too soon!

Accent Funeral Home

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve.
