Cion Frank Raitz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cion Raitz. He passed away peacefully on July 14, 2023. Cion was 82 years young. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Raitz, brothers Bob (Vivian), Don (Esther) and Tony (Lou), and sisters Maryann Gordon (Toots) and Irene ((Dolly) Mearsha (Frank)). He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Cion loved spending time with his family and friends, playing softball, horseshoes and bowling. He was also a great accordion player and loved all things polka. Cion served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963 and was a member of the American Legion for many years. Military Honors to be rendered by the U.S. Navy at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday, August 15th at 11:00 AM.
