Belchertown -Claire R. (Morel) Connors, 87, passed away Dec. 24, 2021 at home. She was born on February 4, 1934 in Holyoke, to Robert and Regina (Bergeron) Morel. Claire retired from the Ludlow School system where she worked as a teacher's assistant for many years. Claire has lived in Belchertown for 31 years and was a communicant of St. Francis Church. Claire loved going on family camping trips, she spent much time camping all over New England and a cross the country. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Connors, her son, Craig Connors and three siblings, Yvette Barber, Pauline Heath and Roland Morel. She is survived by her loving daughter, Debra Giammarino and her husband Gerry, two precious granddaughter, Ashley and Sarah and one great grandson, Scottie. She also leaves five sisters, Lorraine Goodenough of Chicopee, Lucille Parks, Jeanne Terry, Suzanne Garner, Annette Polk all of Texas, three brothers, Roger Morel of Texas, Robert Morel of Arizona and Leo Morel of Texas. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Springfield.
