Clara, beloved mother, passed away October 16, 2007. Born November 2, 1940 in Cosenza, Italy. She arrived in Tacoma, WA in 1970 and married James Volpe in 1971. He preceded her October 11, 1998. She is remembered for her strong personality, remarkable generosity, warm hospitality and excellent cooking. She loved music, food and humor. Clara is survived by: sons Lorenzo and Giancarlo, wife Angela; siblings Ubaldo, Anacleto, Venanzio, Adriano and Claudia and many others. Viewing Monday, Oct. 22, 1-5PM at Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home 253-472-3353. The funeral Mass will be Celebrated 1PM Tues. Oct. 23 at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Donations may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
