Clara Marie Wright, 97, of Murphy, NC, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 in a Murphy care facility. She was a native of New Port Richey, FL, but had moved to Murphy in 2013. Clara had worked for Jordan Marsh Department Store as a Secretary. She was a member of Saint Theresa's Catholic Church in Weeki Wachee, FL and had attended Saint Williams Catholic Church while living in Murphy. She was active even into her 90's, and loved to go dancing and enjoyed kayaking on the Weeki Wachee River. She was the daughter of the late William Oscar Herms and Ruby Eugene Clark, and the wife of the late Albert Ball Wright. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Louise Fatta. Surviving are two nieces, Mary L. Fatta, and Ann B. Nagel and husband, Walter. Clara Marie Wright, 97, of Murphy, NC, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 in a Murphy care facility. Surviving are two nieces, Mary L. Fatta, and Ann B. Nagel and husband, Walter. She will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL alongside her husband Albert.
