ROCKLEDGE,FL Clarence Childers,79, formerly of Kopperston, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Rockledge Fl. Live video will start at 2:00 PM Sunday September 6th, 2014 He is survived by his children Earl Childers and wife Denise, of Surfside Beach SC, Terri Rose of Concord, NC, and Jeff Childers and wife Eileen, of Harrisburg, NC. Grandchildren Jason Childers, Jessi Ciora, Cassie Renner, Rebecca Biddy, and Kyle Childers. Three great grandchildren-Isabella, Olivia, and Noah. Brothers Charlie and Coy Childers, sisters Loretta Long, Mitzi Kellogg, and Alice Childers. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Mack and Elsie Childers. He was a retired US Army Warrant Officer and a longtime member of the American Legion, VFW, and AmVets. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Viera, Fl., Sunday, September 7th @ 2pm. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery. He was loved dearly and will be missed.
