Clarence Pierce Sall
April 28th, 1938 - August 18th, 2024
With family prayerfully at his side, Clarence Pierce Sall, 86, passed away peacefully August 18, 2024 at Fairacres Manor. He was born April 28, 1938 to Ralph Harold and Lucille Mary (James) Sall in the Greeley Weld County Hospital.
Growing up on a farm east of Greeley with his father at his side, Clarence learned from a young age about responsibility and the value of hard work. He loved anything with wheels, beginning with his stroller, to his bicycle, to his hot rods.
Clarence graduated from Greeley High School in 1956 and went on to serve in the Army during the Berlin Crisis and serving in the Army National Guard.
Clarence was a dedicated hard worker, who passed his strong work ethic on to his children. Clarence was a man of many talents. During his lifetime careers, he did everything from construction, cement work, scrapping and recycling, mechanics and owned his own gas station and truck business.
He met his wife, Doris Darlene White while cruising “Dizzy Block” in one of his hot rods. They married November 24,1963 at the First Congregational Church. Together, they shared sixty years of marriage and three children: Cathryn, Karen and Lorin.
Clarence was very much a family man. He lived his life with honor, loyalty and incomparable love. When he loved, he loved with his whole heart and was fiercely protective of those in his world.
Thankful to have shared his life are his wife, Darlene, three children; Cathi (Marty) Schmidt, Karen (Tony) Tanking and Lorin (Julie) Sall; eight grandchildren; Katie, Kristen, A.J., Alayna, Rachel, Justin, Ashley and Amber; 11 great-grandchildren and his sister, Brenda Sall.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandra Andersen.
Clarence’s Life Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Adamson with a reception to follow. Condolences may be shared at AdamsonCares.com.
