Clarissa Nina Castellano

Clarissa Nina Castellano Passed away Unexpectedly on Sunday, October 29th, 2017, at the age of 31. She was successful in her career and dedicated her life to helping children in need while working at CYFD for approximately 3 years and another 3 years with Molina healthcare assisting all age groups with their health needs. Clarissa had a positive impact on her clients as did they on her Spirit, Heart, and Soul. A native of Santa Fe, NM, Clarissa attended The University of New Mexico, and graduated with a bachelors and master's degree with the title of Licensed Master Social Worker. She will be remembered most for her dedication to family and friends, her deep sense of compassion, keen intellect, and above all, her service to others. Clarissa is survived by her Mother and Father, Cleo and Rudy Castellano both of Santa Fe, NM. She is preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents Celia and flaviano Herrera of Nambe, NM and Paternal Grandparents Felipa and Robert Castellano of Santa Fe, NM. She is loved and missed dearly by her God Parents Mel and Nina Roybal of El Rancho, NM. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, Osmundo and Tina Herrera, Gabriel and Berlina Herrera, Nick Herrera and Olivia, Charlie and Carmen Herrera, and David Herrera, all of Nambe, NM. Also Aggie and Randolph Roybal of Santa Fe, NM, Mariana Martinez of Downy, CA., Robert Castellano, and Virginia Castellano of Santa Fe, NM, and many more adoring cousins, relatives, coworkers, and close friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 511 Alicia St, Santa Fe, NM.
