CLAUDETTE HOWARD Greeneville- Claudette Priar Howard 74, of Signature Health Care formerly of Chuckey, was born April 17, 1944 in Owensboro Ky., passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Greeneville, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James (PI) Howard in November 2017; her parents, Claude and Catherine Priar; her brother, Everett “Boogie” Priar; a son-in-law, Richie Allen Greene. Claudette Howard is survived by four daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Cindy (Charles Keith) Morelock, Bridget Greene, Amber (Chris) Arnold, and Jennifer Howard; several foster children including Hannah Hoyle, Kimberly Hilliard and Tiffany Knight; a brother, Allen D. Priar, Sr. of Greeneville and eight sisters-in-law, Judy Priar of Plano IL, Shirley (Linford) Wilkes and Peggy (Ricky) Dively of Greene County TN, Carmen Elder, Faye (Wayne) Smith and Mae Howard of Owensboro KY, Judy (David) Jensen of Illinois, June Ellen Rikard of Missouri. 3 brothers in law Nick (Alonia) Howard and Tommy Howard of Greene County TN, Jackie (Wanda) Howard of Oklahoma; 5 Grandchildren: Cody Morelock, Keithallen Arnold, Ellie, Brandon, and Eli Dalton along with special family members, Edward and Phyllis Walker of Chuckey, TN and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Union Temple United Methodist Church from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm with Rev. Kevin Morrison, officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Starnes, Richard Morrison, and her loving nurses at Signature Healthcare of Greeneville and caregivers of Caris Healthcare of Greeneville TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a memorial contribution to the Princess Delilah Foundation, P.O. Box 7902 Kingsport, TN 37664.
