Warner Robins, GA: SMSGT. Clayton ?Lou? Costello, USAF Ret. 68, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at his home. Mr. Costello was born on July 16, 1938 in Winchester, Virginia. Graveside services will be at 11 am Monday, May 7, 2007 in Parkway Memorial Gardens. A career veteran, SMSGT Costello, an avionics technician and systems supervisor traveled all over the world, serving in Vietnam, Antarctica, New Zealand and Alaska and finally retiring from the United States Air Force. He also retired from the Civil Service after serving 21 years at Robins Air Force Base. He was the son of the late Clayton Elliott Costello, Sr. and Margaret Coffman Costello. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Survivors include his wife Barbara McCoy Costello of Warner Robins, daughter Kelly Daniel Blackmon of Warner Robins, GA; Son Lewis Diane Costello, of Kathleen, GA. Grandchildren Travis Ryan Blackmon, Emily Alyse Blackman, Shannon Rose Costello, Jessica Rachel Pamanian, and Patrick ?LC? Costello. Visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 6 to 9 PM Sunday, 6 May 2007. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
