Clement Omer Stiving

Clement Omer Stiving (Clem) passed away at age 86 on January 10, 2021, at 10:30 pm at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital. He was born August 26, 1934, in Kunkle, Ohio to Justus Stiving and Ellen Stiving. On September 21, 1958, Clem married Marjorie Ann Miller (Marge) in Grand Rapids, Ohio. He was educated and worked as a civil engineer and area manager while raising an amazing family of 3 children, all of whom became successful professionals. After becoming empty nesters and retiring, Clem and Marge moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida and traveled the world, including Great Britain, France, Australia, New Zealand, various Caribbean Islands, and many cruises. Clem is survived by his daughter Lucinda (Larry) Banks, and two sons Mark (Carol) Stiving, and Scott (Lisa) Stiving. He had four beloved grandchildren; Daniel (Emily) Stiving, James (Alyssa) Stiving, Lydia Stiving, Clarissa (Andrew) LeGrand, and three great-grandsons James Omer Stiving, Harrison Scott Stiving, and Grayson Andrew LeGrand. He was preceded in death by his wife who died in 2019 of Alzheimer's disease. Donations to the Alzheimers Foundation are appreciated. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
