Mr. Cleo Coney, Sr. of St. Petersburg FL was transitioned from this earth at the age of eighty-five on the 5th of April 2016 while surrounded by loved ones. Cleo was born in Plant City, Florida and as a twenty year United States Air Force Veteran, traveled the world. Go Blue! Cleo, a much loved and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend is survived by his treasured wife, best friend and partner of 60+ years, Mrs. Ann Coney; daughters Andrea Coney, Chandra Uhle and husband William (Cleo called him his second son); Kindra Coney; and his son and namesake Cleo Coney, Jr.;granddaughter Robin Uhle; grandson Matthew Uhle and wife Achala; brother Willie Coney; oldest nephew Robert Anderson; oldest sister-in-law Lizzie Walker (who was never called an in-law); all of his wife's sisters and brothers whom he also never referred to as in-laws; and a host of very loved and dear to his heart nephews, nieces and cousins; friends; special neighbors and associates. Often said and very true "Mr. Coney never met a stranger" as he always made everyone feel special and made it his purpose to uplift everyone with his humor and infectious personality. Mr. Coney was honored, respected and truly loved by many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Mr. Coney's life will be held on Saturday, April 16th at 1 PM.
