Clifford LeRoy Stering
February 3rd, 1925 - March 13th, 2015
Cliff Stering, lifetime resident of Edmonds Washington, passed away on March 13, 2015 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family. Cliff was a man who knew the importance of living life to the fullest. Cliff was born in Stanwood, Washington (Cedarhome) to Fred Joseph Stering and Lillian Lydia Lindberg. The family moved to Edmonds in 1935, where he later met his future wife Charlene Ann. She knew what she was getting into from the start! Cliff raced Harleys and did stunts on the Seattle Cossacks motorcycle drill team. He could ride 50 miles per hour on the seat backwards. Charlene accepted her husbands daredevil tendencies and appreciated his tinkering skills. Cliff and Charlene raised three children Judy, Mike and Dave. Cliff had many hobbies including racing, mechanics, flying, boating, gardening, hunting, fishing, cooking, canning, building and bingo. His favorite hobby was his family and friends and he was the strength of the family. receded in death by his wife Charlene of 40 years, sister Irene Stevenson and brother Fred Jr. He is survived by his three children Judy Reischman (Aldis Zirnitis), Mike Stering (Sandy) and Dave Stering (Jeannette Peterson); Grandchildren Shelly Wilson (Craig), Jason Rooker, Debbi Simonsen, Amy Butchart (Shane), Jennifer White (Jake), Kaylee Stering and Kylee Medina (Liesel); Great grandchildren Melissa, Melannie, Michelle, Mitchel, Madyson, Makena, Ryder, Brayden, Macie, Athena, Natalia and two more expected in 2015.
