Clinton F. DeWitt passed away on July 19, 2021, at his home in Sutter, California. He was 83. Clinton "Bud" DeWitt was born in Yuba City, California on January 12, 1938, and lived most of his life in Sutter County. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his five children, Rebecca Jeffries of Sacramento, Michael DeWitt, Bradley DeWitt (Anna), Burton DeWitt, and Mark DeWitt all of Yuba City. Also his sister Arlene Patterson of Roseville, and Janice Meyers of Sutter, his long time companion. Clinton had twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Clinton was predeceased by his wife, Patricia (Jeffries) DeWitt; mother, Lillian (Hespen) DeWitt; and father, Clinton W. DeWit;t and a sister, Carolyn Tice. At his request, private services were held on Monday, July 26, 2021. Contributions in memory of Clinton DeWitt can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to a favorite charity.
