Colleen Mary Lamp
June 12th, 1973 - April 8th, 2024
Colleen Mary Lamp was born in La Grange Park, IL on 6/12/1973. At an early age her family moved to Louisville, KY where she spent her adolescence and early school years.
She enjoyed spending time with family, hiking/walking, listening to music, watching birds, traveling to different places, watching B rate movies, and caring for others. Colleen graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Baccalaureate degree in nursing in December of 1995. She married her sweetheart Mark A. Prilik on October 12, 1995. Colleen served alongside her husband in the USAF from September 2001- October of 2010. She was discharged with the rank of Captain. She held positions as an RN throughout her career in Medical Surgical Nursing, Education and Training, Pediatric Oncology, Primary Care, Correctional Care and Geriatrics. Colleen and her husband Mark moved to Colorado Springs in October 2020.
Colleen is survived by her Husband Mark, Father Bernard James Lamp and Mother Leslee Anne Lamp, Sister’s Anne Hendrich, Allison Tyson, and many friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at the Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909 on May 10, 2024 at 1100. A burial service will follow at 1300 at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd, Colorado Springs, CO.
