Obituary Colonel John S. (Jack) Brown, sailor, soldier, dentist, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at Community Hospital on Feb 11, 2018. After a long career in the military, Jack retired in Monterey. He is survived by wife, Trixie Travis Brown; daughter Sydney Shepperd (Michael), son John Brown (JoLyn), five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Shelby Ann Brown (Teg). A memorial service will be scheduled later.
